Founded by spiritual leader and cultural visionary Andrew Cohen in 1988, EnlightenNext is inspired and guided by the principles of what Cohen calls Evolutionary Enlightenment. Connecting individual transformation with a deep sense of responsibility for our collective future, this twenty-first-century spiritual philosophy is the lifeblood of EnlightenNext’s organizational culture and all of its events, programs, and publications.

EnlightenNext offers:

  • An original, contemporary spiritual path and practice for individuals who aspire to make their own lives an expression of evolutionary and enlightened values
  • Numerous courses and publications on the essential elements of Evolutionary Enlightenment
  • A global network of “Evolutionaries” and a series of forums and events in which individuals can engage with others to explore the collective dimension of enlightened consciousness and its implications for the evolution of culture
  • In-depth cultural inquiry through award-winning quarterly magazine EnlightenNext magazine (formerly What Is Enlightenment?), as well as teleconferences, websites, salons, and a forthcoming annual month-long spiritual retreat and international conference
  • Intensive retreats with Andrew Cohen, providing an opportunity for experiential engagement with the teaching of Evolutionary Enlightenment

Through its programs and publications around the world, EnlightenNext is becoming recognized as a focal point and guiding light for spiritual leaders, progressive thinkers, visionaries, and inspired activists who are passionately interested in and contributing to the evolution of consciousness and culture.

In 2008, EnlightenNext was proud to celebrate twenty years of dedication to spiritual transformation and cultural inquiry.

“There’s a big difference between how much any individual thinks they care, and how much any individual actually does care. How much anybody does care will always be revealed - seen, known and recognised by how an individual actually lives… by their actual day-to-day relationship to; the other, to the others, to life, to the universe, to the process. That’s the only way you can tell how much any individual cares is by how they live their life.”

- Andrew Cohen
